Terms Of Business

  • Paymentcare Limited provides various insurance policies on a "non advised basis only". We will offer you a limited range of insurance products for you to choose from. Ask us for a list of insurers we offer insurance from.

  • You will not receive advice or a recommendation for any of the policies we offer. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

  • We do not charge a fee for the services we provide. We are paid by commissions from the insurers only if you decide to take out a policy.

  • We will provide you with comprehensive information to assist you in making an informed decision about the insurance you are considering.

  • If we cannot match your requirements, we will explain the differences in the policies that we offer and if it is not practical to match your requirements we will provide you with information so that you make an informed decision about your proposed insurance.

  • We will explain the main features and benefits of the insurance policy that you are considering. We shall also explain any significant conditions or obligations which you must meet. Sample policies are available should you require one. We shall explain the cost of the policy, including where applicable, any additional taxation costs, together with details about how to make a claim and your cancellation rights. All policies offered by Paymentcare Limited are subject to underwriting by the individual Insurance companies concerned, submitting an application does not automatically guarantee that you will be accepted for cover.

  • If your application is accepted by the insurer, once your policy is in place we will communicate with you via email which is considered to be a durable medium, unless you ask us to communicate with you in some other way.

  • Cooling off Period

    You can cancel within the first 30 days of the policy start date and we will refund any premium you may have paid, as long as you have not made a claim on the policy, thereafter you may cancel at any time, with no refund due as the policies are paid monthly, we just ask you to confirm your cancellation request in writing.

  • Fraud

    Any fraud mis-statement or concealment in relation to any matter relating to any policies offered by Paymentcare may render it null and void and all rights to claim will be lost.

  • Policies

    We may offer policies that are branded in the name of one of our trading styles; full policy details are available upon request.

  • Disclosure of Information

    Please note that the information provided by you forms the basis of a legal contract between you and your insurer. It is therefore essential that all information provided by you is accurate and true to the best of your knowledge and belief. You also have an ongoing duty to disclose any material fact, which may influence the acceptability or assessment of your insurance. Failing to disclose any material fact or changes in relation to the risk to your insurers could invalidate your insurance cover and could mean that part or all of a claim may not be paid. If you are unsure if a fact is material you should disclose it.

  • Complaints

    If for any reason you feel dissatisfied with your insurance cover, or with the levels of service provided, we operate a comprehensive complaints procedure to assist you with your complaint, details of which are included in our key facts about our insurance services.

  • Applicable Law

    All policies arranged via Paymentcare or one of our trading styles is subject to English law and practice and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
